This project was created as part of the Golgol Festival in Ukraine. It was developed partly in the UK and partly in Kyiv. The show is a non-verbal re-telling of the well-loved folk story of the infamous witch, Baba Yaga, who appears in many Ukrainian folk tales. The team traveled to Kyiv to create the large puppets, direct the show, and collaborate with Ukrainian actors in bringing this story to life. Baba Yaga, known for living in a house that walks on chicken legs, takes centre stage in the performance.
